I did not think the opening to 28 years later could top itself, but it did. The film 28 Years Later has been released after a 16 years wait from its 28 Days later came out in 2002, and Weeks came out in 2007.

The conceptualization of the world 28 years after the apocalyptic outbreak of “the rage” virus lays waste to the UK. This movie follows Spike, a young man trying to save his mother and learning what horrors dwell on the mainland.
